Cusco , the ancient capital of the Inca, offers a number of impressive sites just above the town such as Sacsayhuaman, with its enormous, tightly fitted stones forming the head of a jaguar. A visit to Cuzco will feature a train ride to the foot of the mountain followed by an hour hike. |

You can also combine a visit to the Galápagos with a trip to Peru and the land of the Incas. Your trip can of course include a visit to famed Machu Picchu, never found by the Conquistadors, known only to the Indians until quite recently. You will overnight in a nearby hotel/spa situated for watching the sun rise over Wayna Picchu. Some trips may require an extra night in Lima, Peru. We can also arrange treks on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and on other less know trails. |
